Slippery Shopping Centre Floor – Anti Slip Solution

This well know designer outlet found that the new tiles in their food hall and adjacent areas did not meet their strict criteria for slip resistance. The outlet had very slippery shopping centre floor tiles which had been installed as part of an expensive interior upgrade and had been fitted to many areas that had the potential for slip accidents due to spills from food and beverage.

Over 1500 M2 of floor tiles were treated with an invisible moisture reactive anti-slip treatment to increase the wet PTV or slip resistance. The work was undertaken over 7 nights whilst the outlet was closed with minimal disruption to trade as the outlet was able to open up each morning.
