Access Compliance requires that service providers should remove all physical barriers to enable people with disability to access their service. Surefoot Systems work with many companies and public sector organisations to ensure that access to workplaces and services meets necessary requirements.
People with impairment through age or disability are particularly prone to slip accidents and as the demographic shift continues over the next decade age impairment in particular has the potential to bring with it an increase in slip related injury.

Adjustments that may need to be made to ensure access compliance include improving access or layout to a building and ensuring that mobility aids, ramps and steps are non slip and as safe as possible for the user, reducing the risk of accidents, slips or trips.
