Slippery Ceramic Tiles on the floor in the toilets, changing rooms and showers of this exclusive hotel Spa in Lancashire required an anti-slip treatment as they were found to have lost slip resistance when wet.

The owners decided to take action as a number of minor slip incidents had occurred. The decision was taken in the interests of safety to improve the slip resistance by treating the tiles with an invisible moisture reactive cost effective anti-slip treatment.

Slip Testing following treatment using a Wessex pendulum slip assessment tool showed that the slip resistance of the tiles had been dramatically improved to well above minimal standards .
