Non Slip Concrete Floor - Manufacturing & Production Areas

Electronics Manufacturer – Concrete

This large manufacture of electrical components in Merseyside were experiencing slip problems on a concrete floor in their main production and test areas, and required a non slip concrete floor treatment.

The existing concrete floor had been previously painted with a material that had extremely poor slip resistance. Other parts of the factory that had not been previously painted were also in need of visual upgrade

The existing painted surface was first thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove all surface contamination. The surface was then rotary abraded using a diamond grinder with dust extraction to remove all loose surface coating and to key the surface.

“A primer specifically developed for adhesion to concrete and existing paint coatings was then applied followed by two coats of a high build anti-slip resin.”
